Dr. Raj Patil brings 35 years of ophthalmic experience spanning academic research and pharmaceutical R&D. He previously served as Vice President of R&D at Ora, and held senior roles at iVeena Delivery Systems, Alcon and Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research.
Dr. Patil has also held academic appointments at Duke-NUS Medical School/Singapore Eye Research Institute, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Patil is a recipient of the Olga Keith Wiess Special Scholar Award from Research to Prevent Blindness and the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and is a frequent speaker at academic and industry conferences.
